Old Master. Benzene-free wood paint is currently a new generation of two-component PU wood paint that combines internationally advanced third-generation benzene-free technology with paint film functionality.

Construction method: brushing, airless spraying

Coating System and Number of Coats:

White Blank (cleaning, finishing, 240 grit sanding) → 1 coat (360 grit sanding) → Crystal Clear Primer 2 coats (600 grit sanding) → 2 coats → surface finishing

Substrate Treatment:

1. Ensure the substrate surface is clean, free of oil stains, dust, and impurities. Substrates with heavy grease tend to shrink when applying primer. It is recommended to carefully grind and clean the substrate, wash with thinner before painting.

2. For substrates blown with hydrogen peroxide or bleach, wait at least 48 hours to dry thoroughly, then sandpaper to sand off surface residues until clean, then apply sealing paint. It is recommended to test small areas first for abnormal phenomena such as color bleeding, smudging, redness, or yellowing before applying.

Construction method:

1. Stir evenly before application. Theoretical ratio: main paint : special curing agent : thinner = 2:1:2 (the thinner amount can be adjusted according to climate, environment, brushing, and painting viscosity requirements; the remaining part can be used for tool cleaning). After mixing the paint, stir evenly, let it sit for about 15 minutes until the bubbles disappear, then apply immediately.

2. Apply multiple thin layers, not thick layers. Each painted surface must be thoroughly sand (using non-stick sandpaper) before sanding thoroughly. After removing any loose dust, the next coat can be applied. The interval between recoats should be at least 12 hours. Do not apply if the air is too humid

Blending paint:

1. Before opening the can, invert the paint can (especially matte, semi-matte, colored paint, and clear primer cans) for 2 minutes and shake thoroughly. Then, mix the paint according to the specified ratio and mix it well and filter (it is recommended to use a 200-300 mesh filter for topcoat and floor paint, 80-200 mesh for primer). Let it sit for 15 minutes to defoam before use, which will enhance the effect. If the paint is not mixed, uneven gloss

will occur.

2. Before mass use, measure the activation period of the paint after mixing at the current temperature. After mixing, use it within the activation period.

3. The ratio of paint to curing agent must be strictly according to the specified ratio, and the amount of thinner can be reasonably adjusted according to specific circumstances
